Based in Melbourne, Australia, I consider myself a professional gypsy, commuting to the rest of Australia, New Zealand and China – and travelling regularly to further parts of the world.

After years of reviewing restaurants and writing about food, wine and the arts, in Australia and abroad, I initiated Flying Connoisseur to fill the needs of sophisticated travellers like you - looking for a certain global lifestyle. I pride myself on being able to find the best coffee in any city, within a couple of days. My greatest compliment? To be mistaken for a local. As I recently was in both Florence and St Petersburg!

My focus is now Asia Pacific – the developing culture of Australia and New Zealand and as-we-speak changing China. Our team of experienced reviewers - the Flying Connoisseur Review Crew, are dedicated to creating global guides to the best experiences on offer.
